We've released several major features in 2025 so far, including our first set of AI-powered tools and Dynamic Report Distribution.
In addition, our team has developed a variety of other new features designed to enhance data analysis and create a user-friendly, customizable interface to support every type of TARGIT user.
In this blog, we'll showcase the biggest features we’ve released this year and provide an overview of every new feature added to TARGIT since November 2024.
Cloud Release: March 26, 2025 | On-Prem Release: March 2025
In March 2025, we released two new AI-powered forecasting features: an advanced forecasting tool in TARGIT’s InMemory ETL Studio and a front-end feature for Designer and Consumer users:
Advanced forecasting in the InMemory ETL Studio: Use advanced time series forecasting models to make qualified predictions of your future data. Users in the cloud or on-prem can forecast all data (values, measures) that exist in a table together with a time dimension, then add influencing factors and optimization of the forecasting model for enhanced accuracy.
Ad hoc forecasting in Web and Windows Clients: Cloud users can now use AI to generate quick, short-term forecasts. Designer Users configure forecasts by setting time dimensions and at least one measure in a crosstab. Once a Designer enables forecasting, users in either client can initiate a forecast for the designated time period and measure(s) through the Object Toolbar.
Cloud Release: February 19, 2025 | On-Prem Release: March 2025
Dynamic Report Distribution is a type of Scheduled Job that allows for business logic-driven control of reports and dashboard recipients, optimizing distribution by targeting specific recipients according to pre-determined goals. With this feature, you can:
Cloud Release: December 4, 2024 | On-Prem Release: January 2025
Design multi-view dashboards, enhanced menus, and custom filtering objects by using TARGIT's newly expanded Trigger functionality to show, hide, and toggle object- and group visibility without switching to a new dashboard.
This feature also included enhanced menu design and customization options, so Designers can easily hide non-essential tools and information to open up more space on the design canvas.
Plus, use Object Toggling to put documentation or a specific KPI object on top of your dashboard. This makes it exceptionally clear to end-users what they should be viewing or which actions to take next.
Cloud Release: November 6, 2024 | On-Prem Release: January 2025
When you create a trigger to open another document, you can now select a specific layout to open. If you do not select a layout, the trigger will open 'Default layout,' which is the first layout on the list that matches the device that is trying to open it.
